Ms. Orrell has over 20 years of experience in the power industry, from engineering design of natural-gas combined cycle power plants to developing robust, financial pro forma models for the wind power industry. Her work has involved her with power project developers, non-profits, consulting firms, the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Defense. Alice currently works at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory where she manages PNNL's distributed wind research portfolio and is the lead researcher and author of the annual Distributed Wind Market Report. She has a BSME from the University of Vermont, an MBA from the University of Washington, and a PE license in Washington State. She is a long-time member of Society of Women Engineers and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy.
