Senior Director, Codes and Standards
Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)
As Senior Director of Codes and Standards, Evelyn leads SEIA's codes & standards, environmental, health and safety initiatives, and improving solar's permitting, inspection and interconnection processes. She heads SEIA’s work with several member groups - the Codes & Standards Working Group, the Mounting Systems Manufacturers Committee, the PV Recycling Working Group, the Operations and Maintenance Working Group, the Quality Assurance Working Group and the Installer Safety & Workforce Development Working Group.
Evelyn joined SEIA after over 25 years at UL LLC (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.), spending the last 12 years in renewables business management. Evelyn was instrumental in building UL’s solar business globally, managing business strategy and service portfolio development and she held roles in international, regional and national business management, sales and marketing, and testing / certification. Evelyn has a BA in Social Sciences from UC Berkeley and Executive Education in Leadership and Innovation from Yale University’s School of Management and the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
