In response to the call by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to increase the quality and number of grants submitted by emergency medicine researchers, the SAEM Research Committee has made continuous improvements to the Grant Writing Workshop. This workshop is based on grant writing webinars and didactics paired with small group workshops. This allows participants to obtain feedback on and make improvements to their draft grant proposals. This interactive session is tailored to researchers at all levels of practice and training. By the end of this session, attendees will be prepared to translate their nascent ideas into mature, successful grants.

• Write a successful specific aims page
• Compile a strong biosketch
• Identify one to two new mentors that can serve as resources in the future
