This session will describe diagnostic considerations and clinical effects of stimulant use disorder, including cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription stimulants. Off-label pharmacotherapy options with preliminary evidence for the treatment of stimulant use disorder will also be reviewed. Clinical considerations when selecting pharmacotherapy treatment options for stimulant use disorder will be discussed, including cooccurring psychiatric and substance use disorders.
