The most commonly used antidepressants are associated with treatment-emergent sexual dysfunction (TESD). Dr. Clayton will discuss factors contributing to sexual dysfunction with major depression and antidepressant treatment and the impact of sexual dysfunction on adherence and quality of life. This session will also review mitigation strategies of management of modifiable factors, switching antidepressants, or using antidotes to sexual dysfunction.
