Nic Shea MA, CSCS, is a PhD candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I completed my Master's of Arts in Exercise Physiology at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2017 with a thesis focus on neuromuscular outcomes in young and older populations. Prior to graduate school, I interned with the Mizzou athletic performance team during the summer of 2014 and was an assistant wrestling coach and headed the strength and conditioning for wrestling at Staley High School during the 2014-2015 wrestling season. At Georgia Tech I have been able to participate Create-X's startup launch program which helps accelerate student-lead startup ideas on campus. I am currently working on my dissertation in the exercise physiology lab in the Applied Physiology department.
