Andrew Fry, Ph.D., CSCS*D, FNSCA is a professor of exercise physiology at the University of Kansas. His areas of research focus include sport performance, resistance exercise physiology, skeletal muscle cellular and molecular responses and adaptations, and endocrine and receptor physiology. He is the Director of the Jayhawk Athletic Performance Laboratory, and the Director of Research for the KU Research and Coaching Performance Team. In 2018, he received the NSCA’s Boyd Epley Lifetime Achievement Award, and is a past recipient of the Outstanding Sport Scientist Award. Andy is married to Dr. Mary Fry, a sport psychologist, and has two children, Jared (21) and Lindsey (19).
