Kariely Negron works for the Office of Performance and Quality Improvement (OPQI) at the Florida Department of Health in orange County (FDOH-Orange). While working on an degree at Le Cordon Bleu to become a chef, she crossed paths with Public Health and has been there ever since. She has since served in multiple capacities under both the Office of Community Health (OCH) and OPQI. She has worked in Clinical Trials and Research Studies particularly with those involving educating Hispanic women on various health topics. She has worked in Health Promotion and Marketing developing materials everywhere from flyers, brochures and posters, to billboards and mall signage for distinct programs and initiatives. She also develops Performance and Quality Improvement materials to educate both staff and clients. She is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, has ToP Facilitator training and now works fully on Quality Improvement with an emphasis in Customer Service, Process Evaluation and Benchmarking, and employee engagement in Quality Improvement through Storyboarding.
