Indu Gupta, MD, MPH, MA, FACP

Commissioner of Health, Onondaga County Health Department

Dr. Gupta completed her medical degree in India; she has a M.A. in Public Administration, Certificate of Advanced Study in Health Service Management and Policy (Maxwell School at Syracuse University) and a M.P.H. (Johns Hopkins University). She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. She is co-chair of the Onondaga County Drug Task Force and an advisory member of the Early Childhood Alliance and ReZone Syracuse. Dr. Gupta also serves on the executive committee of the local antipoverty initiative, Great Syracuse H.O.P.E., and is a board member of the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC), HealtheConnections (regional Health Information Exchange), and New York State Association of County Health Officials (NYSACHO). She is a voluntary assistant professor at Upstate Medical University and courtesy Professor of Practice at Falk College of Syracuse University.
