Adrienne Fedrick Newbold, P.E., PMP, is a Senior Civil Engineer and Program Manager at the Port of Los Angeles. She has over 15 years of program management experience specializing in the planning, design, construction, and operation of container terminals, transportation networks, and waterfront development.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA. She is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer and Project Management Professional. Mrs. Newbold was awarded the ASCE LA Outstanding Young Civil Engineer.
Mrs. Newbold is the program manager for the Port of Los Angeles Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan which assessed the vulnerability, adaptive capacity, and developed resiliency strategies for all port assets. She serve on the CAPA Sea Level Rise committee and the City of Los Angeles Climate change working group to the Port remains resilient to climate change while being a good partner agency
As Project manager Mrs. Newbold recently completed the first Automated container terminal on the west coast, an award winning, $200 Million 100-acre container terminal backland redevelopment. As a diligent Project Manager, she led this complex multi-phased project from planning and design through construction and operation.
She is the Project manager for the Port of Long Angeles 2050 Plan which creates a vision for future port development aligned with our strategic goals.
Mrs. Newbold is past Board Chair for the COPRI Technical Group, an active member of ASCE, Women In Transportation, Women International Shipping and Trade, Loyola Marymount Council for Industrial Partners, a student mentor, and an active engineers week outreach participant.
