Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Neurocritical Care

G. Morgan Jones, Pharm.D., BCCCP, FCCM, is Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Neurocritical Care at Methodist University Hospital (MUH) and Clinical Assistant Professor in the departments of clinical pharmacy and translational sciences, neurosurgery, and neurology at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. Dr. Jones earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Louisiana – Monroe and completed his PGY1 and PGY2 critical care residencies at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He has practiced in neurocritical care since 2011 and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Critical Care Medicine, Stroke, Neurocritical Care, and the Journal of Critical Care. He is a Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist and also serves as an ASHP Critical Care Pharmacy Review and Recertification Course faculty member on topics related to neurocritical care. Dr. Jones serves as the director of the PGY2 critical care pharmacy residency and the Clinical Coordinator of Post-Graduate Education at MUH. He precepts students pharmacists from three different colleges of pharmacy in the Mid-south, as well a PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents.
