This session will focus on recent developments in the approach to managing pediatric anticoagulation. The faculty will address the appropriate use and selection of anticoagulant medications and reversal agents, potential expanded use of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) in pediatric patients, and anticoagulant selection for patients receiving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) therapy. During the session, attendees will apply what they learn to complicated patient case scenarios using audience-response technology.
