Kelly A. Reynolds, PhD, is an associate professor in the Environmental and Occupational Health Section of the College of Public Health, associate professor in the Environmental Science Department of the College of Agriculture and Director of the Environment, Exposure Science and Risk Assessment Center at the University of Arizona. She joined the Faculty at the College of Public Health in 2006 and has over 28 years of experience as a microbiologist in environmental health sciences and directing a research program related to infectious disease transmission, microbiology, risk assessment, and public health policy and education. Survey of water quality and the development of methods for detection and mitigation of pathogens in water is a common theme in Dr. Reynolds’ research. She is a prior recipient of the Water Quality Association’s Honorary Membership Award and the William B. Fritzsche Memorial Top 50 International Award, recognizing the top 50 most influential people in the water treatment and purification industry.
