Dr Anthony CF NG graduated in the Chinese university of Hong Kong in 1993. After his urology training, he has worked under Mr David Tolley, and gained extensive experience in endo-laparoscopic surgery and stone management. He is currently Director and Professor of the S.H. Ho Urology Centre, Department of Surgery, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also the Course Director of the Robotic Surgery Training Programme, CUHK Hong Kong Jockey Club Minimally Invasive Surgical Skill Centre. He has a wide range of interest, in particular in prostate diseases, urolithiasis, and promotion of men’s health. He was also honored with the Outstanding Young Urologist Ward in 2010 by the Asian Congress of Urology and also the Mae Joan Islami Scholar, International Guest Scholars 2012 by American College of Surgeons, the World Chinese Urology Association Award 2014 and the Outstanding Contribution Award 2017 of the International Alliance of Urolithiasis, as recognitions to his work in the field.
Besides clinical and research work, Dr Ng has also strong commitment in education and teaching. Besides, actively involved in the planning of the urological training in Hong Kong, he is also founding Chairman of the Asian Urological Surgery Training and Educational Group (AUSTEG), which involved a group of urologists in Asia and help to provide surgical training for young Asian urologists.
He is also the Board member of the Endourology Society, International Associate, EAU Section of Urolithiasis (EULIS), Council member of the Stone Section, the Chinese Urological Association (CUA), Senior Editor of Hong Kong Medical Journal, Council member of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong.
