I am a consultant urologist working in Oxford, UK. I was a medical student at the University of Cambridge but did my post graduate training in Oxford where I completed both a Masters and Doctorate thesis. I have been working in Oxford for nearly 20 years.
Clinical related work:
Clinical interest in endourology: particularly the treatment and prevention of kidney stones and BPH.
Elected member of the national BAUS Section of Endourology Committee.
Managing partner of Oxford Urology Associates: a private practice group of 8 urologists and 2 uro-oncologists.
Senior Clinical Researcher at the University of Oxford UK.
Since 2007, I have led the Oxford Stone Group which has examined many aspects of stone disease and its management.
I have lead collaborations with multiple departments in the University of Oxford. Current interests include:
- design and evaluation of new endourological technology with several doctorate students and clinical fellows (collaboration between Mathematics and Engineering departments in Oxford and Boston Scientific as an industry partner).
- Development of digital patient pathways (collaboration with Oneview and McLaren Applied technologies).
- 3D printing - development of a multidisciplinary hub in Oxford.
Director of Oxbridge Courses Ltd, which provides training in management and leadership to senior trainees and junior consultants.
Director of StoneScreen Ltd - a startup aiming to provide bespoke guidance to stone formers.
Acted as a medical adviser to industry partners.
