Being a leader in today’s fast-paced, high tech environment carries more challenges than in the past. We have to perform and navigate in a landscape that requires constant change and flexibility. Are we using all of our potential to lead our organizations effectively? If leadership is about problem-solving and unlocking the highest potential of others, what tools do we need to reach our desired outcomes?
We have a fundamental misunderstanding today about what leadership is. We think it is about title, position, and power - when it is truly about unlocking the potential of those around us and solving the problems right in front of us.
Leaders do not accept things as they are; they challenge the status quo and lead change. To drive successful change, they must make sure the capabilities of their organization are matched to the context and challenges of the environment they are operating in.
Join us for an engaging conversation and interactive workshop that will provide you with the practical tools you need to sharpen your problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills (tools you can bring back to your teams). You will practice aligning organzational capabilities with the needs of the communities you serve, and then focus on strategies to unlock the potential of those around you, role modeling the problem-solving behaviors necessary to execute on the strategy, implement the process/structure/metrics, and change the culture.
With a practical understanding of the key characteristics of a leader and how they can solve real problems and move from their current context into a future state for their goals, the workshop will also provide a framework for clear communication internally and externally to key stakeholders.
Separate registration is required for this session.
