Yoga
Class will begin with a Korean-Yoga inspired tapping massage to awaken the body. We will progress into a vinyasa flow to open the hips including warrior two, downward facing dog, child's pose, rabbit, and locust. The class will progress to include agnisar breathing to massage the internal organs, a yogi squat, and happy baby pose. This class will relax and activate the body after a busy week, so you can make the most of the day!
Instructor, Heidi Parkes, is certified in vinyasa flow yoga, and yoga therapy. Heidi is also an accomplished hand quilter, and has exhibited and/or taught quilting workshops at QuiltCon since 2016. This unique pairing of skills creates a yoga experience that is ideal for quilters.
Please bring your own mat. An audio recording will be emailed to students after the class for use in your home practice.
