Quilt Drawing
Now that you’ve finished piecing your minimal quilt, you might be left with the question: how to quilt it? This drawing class will show you various ways to quilt your minimal quilts. We’ll discuss hand quilting vs. machine quilting; enhancing your quilt composition while maintaining a minimal aesthetic; and what to do with all that negative space. We’ll look at examples of minimal quilting before making drawings of our own quilt designs. The goal of the class is to test various quilting patterns to find the best design to compliment your minimalist design.
