Domestic Machine FMQ
This is a hands-on beginning free motion quilting class, the super vitamin of quilting confidence. Explore free-motion basics, learn several beginner friendly designs, and then collaboratively baste and quilt a quilt top, with each student taking a turn at the machine. Individual work on practice pieces develops eye hand coordination and familiarity with a variety of designs. The hands on practice of quilting a large piece with guidance lets students leave with experience in every step of finishing a bed sized quilt on a domestic machine.
