7th Annual Gulf-Atlantic Veterinary Conference
A recent survey of American Veterinary Medical Association Convention attendees found that 85 percent of respondents reported burnout. In addition, suicide rates among veterinarians are 2 to 3.5 times greater than the general population. Given this data, it is imperative to identify effective interventions for mitigating the stress associated with burnout. This interactive, two-part seminar will focus on teaching those working in veterinary medicine targeted and evidence-based strategies for decreasing distress and for enhancing well-being.
