Location: 370

The first year in any supervisor’s career is loaded with pressure, potholes, and pitfalls. Congratulations on that promotion, but be careful not to get so buried in mastering new responsibilities that you lose focus on really nurturing the whole team and examining your relationships with each of your direct reports. Transitioning from peer to boss isn’t easy, and there are a million make-or-break moments that impact your relationship with those you lead. We’ll identify 13 pivotal challenges ranging from supervising someone who knows more than you do to resolving conflict between two co-workers, and provide a prescription for success. You’ll walk away with the answers for these 13 challenges and the fundamental skills you need to solve every difficult workplace problem. The best property management supervisors know that success isn’t really about managing the property…it’s about leading the people who do.
