Attend this session to learn how to consume Pre-Built AI tools like cognitive services and Custom AI tools such as Azure ML Studio and Services, R and others in Power BI. Also, they will learn how to create smart applications using Power Apps, Flow and Cognitive Services.

There is a huge need to use AI in different applications and platforms. Likewise, doing AI and ML is also possible to be done in Power Platform (Power BI, Microsoft Flow and Power Apps). This workshop has two main modules and each module has different sections as below:

Module 1 : AI in Power BI
Using AI and ML in Power BI desktop and services is possible for both business users and developers. They can consume the cognitive service API and Azure mL Studio and Services web service in their Power BI reports and dashboards.

Cognitive service:

In this module, how we able to consume Pre-Built AI in Power BI as a business user or developer will be discussed. The audiences get familiar with cognitive service tools in general, and how to consume it in Power BI desktop as a developer or in Power BI service as a business user.

Azure ML Studio and Services:

The learner will see how to create a simple ML model in Azure ML Studio or services and then consume its web service in Power BI desktop as a developer or as a Business user in Power BI services. The audience learns how they able to consume the model that has been created by a data scientist and put in Azure ML Service and Studio and apply on their datasets.

Visualization and Embed AI in Power BI

Learners get familiar with some visuals in Power BI that provide more insight over data such as Key Influencer and Correlation chart. Also, some of the other features in Power BI that use AI such as QnA and enter by example and so forth will be shown. Also, the audience will learn how to use some simple R codes to export data from Power BI

Module 2: AI Application with Power Apps and Microsoft Flow
Microsoft Power Apps and Flow make the creating application easier. The audience can consume the cognitive service to create some more smart applications using AI Builder for the form processing and Object detection also they will learn how o consume other services like creating OCR, creating face recognition application, image detection and so forth.

Get Familiar with Power Apps and Flow

The audience will get familiar with the main concepts of Power BI and Flow and how they are working separately or together

AI Builder

The audience will get familiar with new AI tools in Power Apps for creating smart applications like form processing and object detection

Create an OCR application

The audience will learn how to create an OCR application with cognitive service, Power Apps and Flow.

Call any Cognitive Service API in MS Flow

Moreover, the audience will get familiar with how to call other cognitive services API like face API or Image tag API in Microsoft Flow in general. And create an Application

Audience:

This workshop can be useful for business users who do not want to write python or R scripts for machine learning and still able to consume and get the advantage of AI in their reports and Power apps applications. Also, they are able to see some embed AI in Power BI to get more insight out of data.
It will benefit developers who want to access created models in Azure ML Studio and service and want to write simple R/Python codes to export data or doing regular expressions.
This workshop is also good for a data scientist to see how they are able to communicate with their data engineer and business users who use Power BI desktop, Power Apps and Microsoft Flow.
