After the implementation of any ERP system like D365 and AX2012 you will be faced with issues of performance and operations stability. There are literally 100 of ways to attack and issues and to resolve the problems you're encountering. This Academy course will teach you how to approach these challenges and it will also teach you many direct tips and tricks in setting up your AX2012 and D365. The Elements of the training will be:
• Why is performance not always solved on the SQL server and in the CODE.
• How can bad master data be the root cause of a performance and stability problem.
• Why is less sometimes more, when coming to infrastructure.
• Where is the magic button.
• How do we acknowledge there is an issue at all.
• Learn to be proactive instead of reactive.
• How do we identify the problem from End-User to the SQL query.
In the session we will cover some very technical SQL analytics, and also we will help and demonstrate how you can trace, and debug your application, also when running in CIL and batch.
In the sessions we will demonstrate how any monitoring tool can help you identify issues as soon as they occur, we will demo what was done on many customers but as case study we will use an installation in Johannesburg with 6 AX 2012 R2 and 2 D365.
In this session we will demonstrate how automation can make your day to day work easier, we will demonstrate tools that are available and give you tips and tricks in how you can accomplish this yourself.
To understand the mechanics of a Dynamics AX that is in operation, and what approach you need to take in order to solve operational and performance problems.
Level: Intermediate, Advanced
We will cover both a high end approach and some deep down examples in trouble shooting
Prerequisites: Bring your own problem and we will see if we can address it in the course
The users will be granted access to a shared environment for demonstration, this will require an internet faced laptop.
