Everybody that has arrived, or will arrive, at the Power Platform is on a journey of discovery. In this session we will take a look at how game building and experimentation is a valid learning strategy for developing a level of expertise in this area, and can also be a lot of fun. We will see the game that started it all where you play a spy on a mission to discover secrets to help with the war effort and move through to more traditional games such as Minesweeper and 'Blockbusters'.
In Flow, a medication notification can be made dynamic and even fun without losing its importance.
In Power BI, we can develop our understanding of the English Premier League through clever visuals and an advanced approach to manipulating Web data through M code.
The session will take the time to relate the technical successes in these games to business scenarios.
The take away is that by building games creating experiments the process of failure/success process is far less painful, that full control of your user stories helps to create a more complete product, how it's easier to share the success of a game vs a business product and finally how playing and redeveloping games enables you to develop a skill highlighted by Satya Nadella in 'Hit Refresh' - Empathy
