ASCE member Alok A. Deshpande is a PhD candidate at the University at Buffalo, NY. He received his BTech from College of Engineering, Pune and MS from University at Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL, in 2010 and 2011, respectively. His research interests include earthquake engineering, strain-hardening cementitious composites and effects of high temperatures on behavior of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
