Eisuke Ueshima, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Ueshima is an assistant professor of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Kobe University Hospital, Japan. He was trained at the Kobe Red Cross Hospital and Kobe University Hospital. He is an expert in minimally invasive treatments and takes care of patients with advanced cancers with the most advanced anti-cancer treatments such as targeted drug delivery. Dr. Ueshima is interested in the basic research of interventional radiology, and worked for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for 2 years as a visiting investigator. Dr. Ueshima’s research focus is targeted therapy with immune modulation in advanced cancers.
