Dr. Stephen J. Hunt, MTR, MD, PhD is an assistant professor of interventional radiology and interventional oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hunt is a co-founder and co-director of the Penn Image-Guided Interventions (PIGI) lab, one of the premier translational research labs focused on interventional oncology. He received his MD and PhD in molecular and cellular physiology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and IR fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as both Chief Resident and Chief Fellow and the Constantin Cope Memorial Fellow in interventional radiology. Dr. Hunt's clinical practice is in interventional oncology with a focus on primary and metastatic lung cancer, and his research interestes include translational oncology research, immuno-oncology, augmental reality (AR) in IR, artificial intelligence in IR, medical device development, ultrasound therapeutics, and international interventional radiology. He is also an active consultant and speaker for the biotechnology and medical device industries. He lives with his wife, Dr. Mana Golzari, and two daughters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
