Director of Cardiovascular MRI

Dr. Martin is a noninvasive cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in noninvasive imaging. He is director of cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging at Oklahoma Heart Institute and Hillcrest Medical Center. In addition, he is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine – Tulsa. Dr. Martin has specialty training in nuclear medicine, as well as additional training dedicated to cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging.
Dr. Martin is a founding member of the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and is a past editorial board member of the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance. Dr. Martin has also been actively involved with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) on a national level participating on numerous committees, writing groups and leadership positions. He is also a past ACC Governor of the State of Oklahoma. He is also a two-time past president of the Board of Directors of Tulsa Metropolitan Division of the American Heart Association and past president of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Magnetic Resonance Laboratories (ICAMRL). Locally, Dr. Martin is the current director of cardiovascular MRI at Oklahoma Heart Institute and the current chief of staff at Hillcrest Hospital South.
