Dr. Naik received medical school diploma from the prestigious NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, India. He completed his post-graduation in General Pediatrics from KM School of Post-graduate Medicine and Research, VS General Hospital, Ahmedabad, India before moving to USA. Dr. Naik completed MPH in Epidemiology from Tulane University, New Orleans before joining General Pediatrics residency program at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Flushing Hospital Medical Center, New York. Dr. Naik was selected a Chief Resident in General Pediatrics residency program. Dr. Naik’s pursuit of subspecialty training earned him a fellowship position in Pediatric Cardiology at Penn State Children’s Hospital, Hershey. His penchant for research begged him a “Clinical Young Investigator” award during the fellowship. Dr. Naik was awarded a prestigious “Fellow of American College of Cardiology” status only a year after graduating from fellowship. Dr. Naik’s is practicing as an Assistant Professor since 2012 in Division of Cardiology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, one of the top 10 Children’s Hospital for pediatric cardiac care in USA. His current focus is on advanced imaging including cardiac MRI, fetal echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram.
