Heisenberg Professor of Radiology
Marc Dewey is Heisenberg Professor of the German Research Foundation and Vice Chair of Radiology at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. His main research interest is cardiac imaging: he coordinates the Pan-European randomised DISCHARGE trial and is editor of Cardiac CT, section editor cardiac of European Radiology and consultant to the editor of Radiology.
His team has approx. 200 publications with an impact factor of 1,400 and his h-index is 42
Professor Dewey received the two highest scientific awards of the German Röntgen Society: the Röntgen Award in 2009 and the Curie Ring in 2012. Professor Dewey was secretary of congress of the German Röntgen Society in 2010 and became president of the Berlin-Brandenburg Radiological Society from 2011-2013. He has taken on several roles within the European Society of Radiology, notably as chair of the scientific program 2019-2020, member of the research committee and the e-learning editorial board.
