CBCMR / Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement™ (APCA™)

The Certification Board of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CBCMR) certification program was established to develop and administer practice-related examinations in the field of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance. In addition, CBCMR was established to award certification to those physicians who successfully complete the examination process. The Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement™ (APCA™), established in 2016, exclusively serves the physician community of over 21,000 physicians in support of their enduring commitment to continual learning and providing high-quality and compassionate patient care through certification. APCA also offers the following examinations: The Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT), the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC), and the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation® (RPVI®).
