Kerry Agnitsch is the Assistant Director of the Office for Responsible Research at Iowa State University (ISU). She also serves as IRB Co-Chair and is a voting member of ISU’s two IRBs. Kerry leads ISU’s IRB program and team, including oversight of daily operations, training IRB staff and members, advising researchers, and developing and improving IRB-related institutional policies, procedures, and guidance. She has been involved in human research oversight for over 12 years. Prior to joining the human subjects protection field, Kerry managed a variety of research projects focused on rural community development. Her academic background includes Master's and PhD degrees in Sociology and a Bachelor's degree with majors in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
