Kim Fowler serves as the Director of the Human Subjects Office at the University of Georgia. Kim is responsible for implementing and administering the University’s policy on the protection of human subjects in research. As the person with primary responsibility for oversight of UGA’s Human Research Protection Program, Kim provides advice on federal regulation and institutional policy to UGA administrators, Human Subjects Office staff, and UGA researchers. She has worked in the UGA Human Subjects Office for 12 years. Kim is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Administration at UGA. She lives in rural Winterville, GA just outside of Athens.
