Fredeswinda Rivera-Ocasio, MBA

Ms. Fredeswinda Rivera Ocasio is an experienced academic business manager with 19 years of experience in human research protection operations and RCR compliance, combined with 26 years of experience in the Sponsored Research Administration world. She currently serves as the Institutional Director for Academic Research in the Vice Presidency of Academic and Students Affairs at Inter American University of Puerto Rico and is the IRB Administrator for the Institution’s IRB.
She was a speaker at the 2019 XII Latin-American and Caribbean Federation of Bioethics Institutions XII Congress (FELAIBE in Spanish) and, a poster presenter at the 2014 AER Conference. She has also served as volunteer in past AER and SRA International Conferences.
She holds an MBA from the University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor’s in Science with a major in Mathematics from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. She enjoys music, traveling and spending lots of time with her pack of Welsh Corgi dogs.
