Laura Henderson is the IRB Reliance Analyst for Baystate Health IRB in Springfield, MA. Before coming to work for Baystate in 2018, she was a Senior IRB Administrator for the Committee for the Use of Human Subjects (CUHS), the University-Area IRB for Harvard University, and previous to her time at Harvard she was an IRB Administrator at University of Washington. Before discovering the joys and challenges of being an IRB professional, she was earlier engaged in various positions within academic assessment and institutional research.

Laura holds a B.A. in English from University of Washington, an M. A. in Applied Anthropology from Oregon State University, and an M.A. in Anthropology from University of California, Santa Barbara. She conducted field research in north India, concentrating on ideology and identity formation within the context of a labor rights organization.
