Kimberly Nelson, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the Boston University School of Public Health. Her research is focused on HIV and other sexually transmitted infection prevention, and sexual minority health. With support from NIMH she has been studying influences, including media influence, on risk behaviors among young men. She has also led a project supported by NIDA on methods to promote sexual health and protect the welfare of adolescent males interested in sex with males.
