Linda Petree, BA, CIP is the Director of the Human Research Protections Program at the University of New Mexico. She has been working in human research protections for over 16 years. She is a site visitor for the Association of Accreditation of Human Research Protections Programs (AAHRPP) and in 2016 she co-founded the national SBER Network, a collaborative of IRB professionals that focus on the unique issues and challenges of ethical oversight of Social Behavioral Educational Research, which is hosted by PRIM&R. She has served on several PRIM&R conference planning committees and presented at national and international conferences. Linda also conducted NIH-funded research at the Mind Research Network focused on the ethics of returning incidental findings (IF) in neuroimaging research and has co-authored several publications on IF.
