Ms. Minder is the dedicated manager for sIRB activities and oversight at Washington University in St. Louis. She has been a member of the national SMART IRB working group on Harmonizing Institutional vs. IRB Responsibilities and the IREx User Feedback Group. Ms. Minder coordinates all WU sIRB activities and serves as the lead liaison for participating sites under WU IRB oversight. Ms. Minder develops and maintains sIRB procedures, reliance agreements and associated materials. As the lead contact for reliance and sIRB activities, Ms. Minder has developed working relationships with a large number of institutional colleagues across the nation in similar positions and analyzes the practices and procedures of other sIRBs to monitor and create best practices for WU. Prior to wokring for the Washington University IRB, Ms. Minder worked as a research nurse and clinical research coordinator for 7 years.
