Colleen Kohashi, MA, CIP, joined the University of California Berkeley’s Office for Protection of Human Subjects (OPHS) in April 2009. Colleen is the lead administrator supporting CPHS-2, one of two full committees at UC Berkeley. CPHS-2 reviews primarily social-behavioral research (including those of potentially greater than minimal risk), both domestic and international. Colleen, a graduate of American University (BA, International Studies) and Columbia University (MA, International Education) is a former Fulbright Grantee to South Korea.

Colleen previously presented at PRIM&R AER in 2014 as a panelist in the “Innovations in Institutional Collaborations” session and in 2018 on "Navigating Uncertainty: Research with Undocumented/Unauthorized Immigrants".
