RoseAnn Fleming, CIP is the Interim Director of the University of Southern California's Institutional Review Board. RoseAnn has been with USC for over 25 years, starting out on the Medical Campus (HSC) as a clinical research assistant in hepatitis and HIV studies, transitioned to the IRB as a medical secretary, an Analyst, Associate Director and is now serving as the Interim Director. She has experience with both social behavioral and biomedical research studies; however, the vast majority of her time has been on USC's University Park Campus (UPC) reviewing Social Behavioral studies. In June 2018, the IRB's on both campuses were combined. RoseAnn has oversight of 15 staff who review approximately 3,000 new applications annually for four different IRBs.
