Director, Clinical Trials Audit and Compliance

Stephanie deRijke, RN, MSN has served as the Director of the Clinical Trials Audit and Compliance (CTAC) department at Emory University since 2010. CTAC is an internal, clinical trial quality assurance and improvement program. In this role, Stephanie's responsibilities include managing not-for-cause and for-cause quality assurance reviews and providing on-site, individual, large group and electronic GCP training to numerous clinical research professionals at all stages of career. Prior to her current role, she developed and managed a new quality assurance program at the Emory Institutional Review Board. In 2010, Stephanie became a site visitor for the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protections Programs and obtained a Certified IRB Professional certificate.
Before moving to the administrative side of research, Stephanie worked as a nurse practitioner in private practice internal medicine and at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. She obtained both a BSN and MSN from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University and began her nursing career in Labor and Delivery at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
