Lisa Denney, MPH, CIP, CCRP – Stanford University, Research Compliance Office, Deputy Director

Lisa Denney is the Deputy Director in the Stanford University Research Compliance Office. In this position she works with the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and the Administrative Panel on Laboratory Animal Care (APLAC) units on harmonization, internal quality monitoring, and process improvement. Prior to this position Lisa was the Interim Director at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Human Research Protection Program (HRPP). In this capacity she oversaw both the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Quality Improvement Unit (QIU). She was responsible for the daily operations and regulatory compliance of the UCSF IRBs. Lisa also worked as an analyst at the George Washington University Medical Center (GWUMC) IRB office where she also obtained her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
