CITI Program

Dr. Arango holds an M.S. in Dispute Resolution and an EdD in Organizational Leadership and Higher Education Leadership. From 2002-2011, he served as an IRB member, then IRB administrator and director for Nova Southeastern University’s Institutional Review Board. In 2011, he joined the CITI Program as Assistant Director of Education in Human Subject Protections. He is now the Director of Educational Initiatives at CITI, with oversight of all of the content areas of the CITI Program. He also has experience serving as an IRB member on both academic and public/state agency IRBs that review both biomedical and social-behavioral-educational research.
