Jennifer E. Gerber, MSc is a PhD Candidate in the Department of International Health's Global Disease Epidemiology and Control Program at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the ethical, legal, and social implications of vaccinomics in the United States. Vaccinomics is an emerging science that would use genomic information to inform vaccine schedules, with the goal of making vaccines even safer and more effective than they are now. Previously, Jennifer worked on epidemiologic studies of oral HPV incidence and persistence as an employee of Johns Hopkins' Department of Epidemiology and on studies of influenza vaccine effectiveness and safety as an employee of a contract research organization. Jennifer earned Certificates in Vaccine Science and Policy and current Good Clinical Practice at Johns Hopkins and a Master of Science (MSc) in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
