Mary-Tara is the Director of the Clinical Research Resources Office and Assistant Director of the Human Research Protection Program at Boston University Medical Campus/Boston Medical Center. Mary-Tara has worked in clinical/human research for 20 years, as a research project manager and nurse, Research Subject Advocate, and her current roles where she oversees the Quality Assurance/Auditing, regulatory consultations, investigator training, and the Research Professionals Network. She has taught a master's level research ethics course and written several articles on research ethics. Mary-Tara earned her bachelor's degree from Tufts University and her nursing and master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
