Leah R. Eisenberg, JD, MA, is an assistant professor in medical humanities and bioethics at the University of Arkansas for Medical
Sciences in Little Rock, AR. In addition to teaching and conducting research, she serves as a clinical ethicist and is the at Director of Research Ethics at UAMS and Arkansas Children's Hospital. Previously, she completed a fellowship in bioethics research at Mayo Clinic after earning a master’s degree in bioethics from Case Western Reserve University and a JD from the University of Wisconsin. Prof. Eisenberg’s education and experience give her unique insight into problems that arise at the intersection of law, medicine, and ethics. Her research interests ethics education, health policy, and improving informed consent and assent through the use of comics.
