Wilderness medicine continues to grow into a robust academic subspecialty that requires a unique skill set and offers the opportunity for emergency physicians to provide improvised medical care. This afternoon hike at Red Rock Canyon National Park will give attendees a chance to immerse themselves in the natural world and fuel their wellness to better enable their ability to provide quality care to their patients. The park is a maze of canyons and peaks, known for its spectacular natural beauty, rugged red rock formations, desert vegetation and spectacular vistas around every bend.
