This half day course will cover key internal and external barriers affecting leadership advancement through diversity and inclusion. Internal barriers include effects of the imposter syndrome and how it interferes with confidence, promotion, and leadership roles. External barriers include microaggressions and implicit bias and their effects on the learning and workplace environment. Participants will share their experiences in this enhanced learning session, leading to a newfound awareness of these key concepts.
