Michael Chary, MD PhD

Michael Chary, MD PhD is a clinical fellow in medical toxicology at Boston Children's Hospital. He studied neuroscience at New York University, completed his MD/PhD at Mount Sinai, and residency in Emergency Medicine at New York Presbyterian/Queens. His research uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to use social media for (1) drug discovery and (2) syndromic surveillance. He also uses artifical intelligence to develop algorithms that can automatically preform differential diagnoses and explain their reasoning process.
