Kelly D. Young, MD, MS received her medical school training at UC Irvine, her residency training in Pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and her fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center under the mentorship of Jim Seidel. While pregnant with her third child, she went back to school to the UCLA School of Public Health, obtaining a Masters of Science degree in Epidemiology. She is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Program Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at Harbor-UCLA. She curates a pediatric emergency medicine educational website, pemsource.org. Kelly has been balancing work and life and developing much-needed time management skills for the last two and a half decades while raising 3 wonderful children with her husband, and will be sending the youngest child off to college in the Fall.
